DCSP1 PHANTOM POWER SUPPLY


The Whirlwind DCSP1 provides phantom power for condenser microphones
when used with the SPC Series Splitters.
The DCSP1 is a regulated low-noise 48VDC power
supply that can deliver up to 500mA.

 When you want to use high quality electret-condenser

microphones in direct-to-recorder applications or with

mixers lacking phantom power, the MicPower 2 provides a 

quality portable source of 12-18V phantom power 

that is DC blocked at the output to protect direct-coupled active mic 

preamps. 
The regulated 48 Volt DC output is ultra quiet, introducing no noise 
into the microphones’ signal path. The Micpower 2 is conveniently portable, 
operating on four long lasting AA batteries or on AC when desired, 
by connecting the included PS6V2.5A power supply.  The rugged design 
is perfect for field recording applications when the use of high quality 
microphones require external phantom power.
